Just the other night, Nazem Kadri sniped his first career hat-trick beating the Ottawa Senators. It seems that the leafs are really getting a grasp on what they need to do to beat high level teams. Right now they are in 6th spot in the eastern conference, and are playing tomorrow. Generally it makes sense that Kessel, Bozak and Phaneuf are all in the top point getters for the leafs, But Nazem Kadri is really honing his place in the franchise. However, the leafs have only had a 3 game win streak, so it seems they can never really be an unbeatable team like the boston bruins. It seems that the leafs are really possible candidates to beat the 7 year streak of not making the playoffs, more info to come.
